2024-2025 Academic Year Fall Semester International Student Internal Transfer

Legislation

According to Article 16 of Bartın University International Student Admission and Registration Principles Directive, “Daytime students (except Turkish Preparatory) can transfer to any department they want once in the Fall or Spring semesters, provided that there is a quota within the add-drop week following the start of classes at the latest within the first 2 semesters they start the program and if the academic unit board of directors approves. Evening students can apply for horizontal transfer by benefiting from our University’s Ten Percent Principles. There is no quota limitation in transfers from the daytime program to the evening program of the same department.” “The placement score or diploma grade of students who are granted the right to internal horizontal transfer with this directive cannot be lower than the base score of the placement score or placement diploma grade of the international students who were last placed in the relevant department.”

Documents to be Uploaded in Applications

1-Active Student Certificate

2- Original Diploma and Original Transcript of the Grade Status Document (Transcript) and translations approved by the Turkish Representative Office

3- International Student Intra-Institutional Horizontal Transfer Application Form (Form is available on the application screen.)

4- Diploma Equivalence Certificate

Note 1: International students who are accepted for horizontal transfer must pay the difference in the tuition fee for the department they will be newly registered to and send the receipt to the e-mail address in the announced lists during the week of the student registration dates. If the difference fee is not paid, course registration will not be made.

Note 2: Programs with quotas will be open on the application screen and 5 quotas have been allocated. There is no quota for programs that are not open.
